Abraham Lincoln aka Abraham Africanus the First

Abraham Lincoln was our 16th president from 1861 to 1865. President Lincoln’s presidential opponents made cartoon drawings depicting him as a Moor and nicknamed him “Abraham Africanus the First.” William Herndon, Lincoln’s law partner, said that Lincoln had very dark skin and coarse hair and that his mother was from an Ethiopian tribe. Lincoln’s law partner, William Herndon’s book entitled “The Hidden Lincoln” says that Thomas Lincoln could not have been Abraham Lincoln’s father because he was sterile from childhood mumps and was later castrated.

Abraham Africanus I is a rare political pamphlet from 1864, published by Lincoln’s political opponents. They charge him with making a pact with the Devil to become the monarchical ruler of the United States.
